On the day after surgery, I received a beautiful bouquet of tulips. For days, I looked at the tulips and they brought me so much comfort. A week after my surgery, I finally had enough strength (and motivation) to take a picture of some of these delicate beauties. As you may have noticed, these tulips are already starting to wilt, but my beautiful vase (a gift from my husband) and the delicate curtain I used as background, helped bring some life back into these blooms. And now I have an image that will help me hold on to that lovely memory.

Great choice for this challenge. I love tulips, but they don’t last long. Maybe that’s one reason I treasure their beauty so much.

This photograph is stunning. It looks like a painting you’d see in a museum. It will always give you pleasure to look at this picture long after the tulips are gone.

That is a beautiful vase. I imagined the tulips bringing a breath of spring when I read of them in your previous post.
