If you ever find yourself at Longwood Gardens in Pennsylvania, make sure you and a friend (or few) sit on the ends of the whispering bench. When you whisper from one end towards the center, your friend on the other end hears your message.
In our case, a few of my kids whispered silly messages to each other. You see the whole bench in the first picture. My oldest son sat down next to my daughter as my 13 year old son whispered to them. One can only guess as you look at the pictures what their little brother was saying to them. I am sure the messages grew in ridiculosity (yes, it’s a word) and plain wackiness. Wouldn’t this bench be so much fun for all ages! Your children are delightful. I love the smiles and the kidding back and forth. As tremendously challenging as a large family must be, the joy must also be multiplied over and over. I’d love to visit Longwood Gardens some day!

Yes, the joy of having a large family far outweighs the challenges. Thank you for your kind comments.
If you are ever near Longwood Gardens, it is definitely well worth a visit. Christmas time is also magical. The gardens are lit up with beautiful lights.
