Last month, I visited the the beautiful Blairsden Mansion located in the idyllic rolling hills of Peapack-Gladstone in New Jersey. The mansion was featured as the showcase house for the Mansion in May Benefit with more than 40 rooms and outdoor spaces each designed by individual interior and landscape designers. Each room or space was exquisitely decorated, a feast for the eyes and senses – color, texture, lighting, space all came into play.
Though there were so many rooms that I particularly liked, there was one room, designed by Kristin Ashley Interiors, that really struck my fancy. It must be because I am a mom of girls although the room also appeals to the little girl in me.
