There are no seven wonders of the world in the eyes of a child. There are seven million. ~Walt Streightiff
I have had very little time to blog because this two-year-old (my grandson) and his parents have been staying with us for the past month. All I want to do during my free time is watch this guy play, discover, and learn. He makes daily life such a joy – carefree and full of fun. My house is a mess! Sadly, this little family is leaving tomorrow to go back home thousands of miles away. It will be an emotional parting, no doubt. But I am very thankful for the time we did spend together. Their parting causes me to cherish them even more and to hug the ones who are nearby even closer.

With a son, daughter-in-law and 7 month old grandson in Japan I understand the heart string tugs. It’s always hard to say goodbye.

Oh that must be hard. How often do you get to see them?
