Cee’s Flower of the Day
Our local greenhouse is an amazing place – featuring beautiful plants and flowers throughout the growing season. At Christmas time, the greenhouse becomes a magical place selling 3,000 Christmas trees and around 15,000 gorgeous poinsettias.
As my family busily prepares for Christmas, looking at these beautiful and cheery poinsettias reminds me of the First Christmas and why I celebrate this holiday. These preparations are important – cleaning and decorating the house, baking cookies, buying presents, and sending out cards, but the best way I can prepare for Christmas is to meditate on the true meaning of Christmas – on the goodness of God who sent us a Savior.

I like your approach to Christmas, reflecting on our values and what we have. It is so selfless, looking outside ourselves and rediscovering our purpose in what is around us. I hope your cookies turn out the way you want them to this year, and everyone enjoys them and asks you for more 🙂
