I’m posting this at the tail end of World Photo Day (August 19). Above is a photo of a field of Snow Buttercups. Blooming at 12,000 feet in elevation, these brilliant yellow wildflowers grow in harsh conditions above the treeline at Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado.
