Yesterday, I visited beautiful Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. I have visited many times before but each time I visit, the Gardens feature something new and different with the changing of the seasons.
When I visit Longwood Gardens, I try to remember to take my tripod for my camera, but that is not always the case. This time, I knew I would need it since there was a special light show called “Nightscape” that took place in the evening. However, I put my tripod to good use during the day since it was quite overcast. At dusk, I was especially happy that I had my tripod when I came upon mist upon the meadow.
So today, as I look at the hundreds of pictures I took at Longwood Gardens, I can say I am very thankful for my tripod.
The following is a sample of pictures I took using my tripod (except for the last one).
If you would like to share your version of “Thankful Thursday” (photos or text or both) today or in the future, you can link your post to my post on Thursdays in the comments section. Happy Thursday Everyone!

Lovely photos and it looks like you had a great time out. My favourite has to be the shot of the lily pads. So clear, so crisp and they must have looked beautiful floating on the water like that. And I spy with my little eye a blue…dragonfly on one of them I think 😉

Thanks for bringing back beautiful memories. I visited there years ago before I started putting pen to paper. I remember my longing to stay and write something– anything. Now that I write and love it so much, I realize something about the place reached a deep place within me.

Thank you Julie for your lovely comment. I wish I lived closer to the gardens. I would probably venture out there every day, but I do have a garden of my own (and so do you). I do find inspiration whenever I am surrounded by beautiful plants, flowers, and trees.
