In November, my husband and I escaped our daily routine and drove two hours to Kennett Square, PA to visit the spectacular Chrysanthemum Festival at Longwood Gardens. It was a wonderful respite from the busyness of our life, having just celebrated the second wedding in our family in four months. Click on any picture to view larger images.

I made my first visit in April of last year. Can’t wait to go back. We are talking of next Christmas but I want to go in June and smell the roses!

It’s been decades since I’ve been to Longwood Gardens; it is especially beautiful in the spring. I didn’t know that they still have exhibits in the winter time. Lovely…
