Heather Malia Ho and Deanna Lynn Galante shared the same birthday and the same day they lost their lives.
Heather Malia Ho, a pastry chef at the Windows on the World Restaurant on the 107th floor of the World Trade Center would’ve celebrated her 45th birthday today (August 1). She was 32 when she died on September 11th.
Deanna Lynn Galante, a personal assistant at Cantor Fitzgerald’s eSpeed division was expecting her first child when she lost her life on September 11th. The memorial also honors her unborn child’s memory.
As a tribute, the 9/11 Memorial places white roses upon victims’ names on their birth dates. We were saddened and moved at the World Trade Center 9/11 Memorial today.
