Once, during Prohibition, I was forced to live for days on nothing but food and water.
~ W. C. Fields
We often take water for granted. There are some people who actually dislike the taste of water, but I love water, and I am very grateful for it. According to Wikipedia, water covers 71% of the Earth’s surface, and is vital for all known forms of life. Water is vital for life but unfortunately, there are people in this world who do not have a constant flow of (drinkable) water available to them like most of us do. So I am grateful. So lift up your glass of water with me. Here’s to water!

So true! I am really appreciating water now because my teeth have developed a sensitivity to cold so I can only drink warm water which, though satisfies the thirst, is not very refreshing! And yeah, I love that WC quote too. 🙂
