I have to admit that last Friday when I saw the theme for the weekly photo challenge, I was a little disappointed. I had just used the “perfect” picture in a post two weeks before. So it took me a while to decide on a different picture.
Since this month is October and this is kind of a “spooky” picture, I chose to post this one.
This picture was taken at Jockey Hollow (Morristown Memorial National Park) in Morristown, NJ. I will post more pictures of Jockey Hollow in a future post.
This post is a response to Weekly Photo Challenge: Horizon.

Thank you! I am really happy with this one. I stopped at the park to take pictures of the trees but the clouds rolled in and everything looked grey. When the sun peaked out, I was thrilled.

It looks like the clouds are practically touching the earth.

It was quite an interesting day. The clouds were moving so fast that at times, the day was quite dark and grey. And then the clouds would open up like the above picture and display a beautiful blue sky. It was an exercise in patience for me! Thanks Patti!
